Bamboo Poles
Bamboo Poles are available in many types and sizes, from sources in
various counties in Asia and the Pacific Islands. All poles are measured
at the base diameter and are sold in 12' lengths.

China - Bamboo poles from China are light yellow in color and are
typically used for decorating. They are hollow poles, usually very straight
with a gradual taper and well defined nodes. Available in diameters from
1/2
to 6". |
| VietNam - Bamboo poles from VietNam are tan to dark brown in color,
semi-solid to solid and are very good for construction. These poles are
very hard and can be sanded and finish like hardwood. Available in diameters
from 1" to 8". |

Exotic Bamboo
Black Bamboo - Usually dark brown, with unique character and appearance.
Available in 1/2" to 3" diameters.
Speckled Bamboo - Appears spotteed with light and dark tones of green
or brown. Beautiful! Available in 2" to 3" diameters.
Flute Blank - Make your own flute using this select blank section.
Approx. 11/2" in diameter.
Root Bamboo - Cut from the root these poles are very flexible with
lots of nodes in very close frequency. Approx. 1/2" diameter by 3'.
